Fat Bombs for satiety

Fat bombs are a big deal in the low carb keto community and for good reason too. They help you feel more full after eating if you were not satieted from your main meal.

Helpful with sugar cravings

Fat bombs are also a great tool for curbing sugar craving because they are like low sugar high fat versions of truffles. Whether savory or sweet they both go far in helping curb the sugar monster.

Fat bombs help to keep you full while the sugary versions cause you to want to eat more and more. With a fat bomb you’ll eat one or two at a time depending on the size and the day.

Even if you are not keto they are still a great low sugar treat that is nonprocessed and a good after dinner treat.

The fatbombs I have made today are a play on reeses peanut butter cups. They are pretty much completely different though. Obviously not processed, no sugar and an emphasis on fat opposed to a sugary treat.

One is completely processed, the other has healthful ingredients like virgin coconut oil, coconut cream, unsalted peanut butter, unsweetened chocolate and allulose (allulose is an alternative sweetener that Wellness mama goes into great detail about).

Choose to have clean and unprocessed and satiating. Your gut and your waistline will thank you.

Ingredients:

1 Cup unsweetened chocolate chips (I used Trader Joe’s, but you can also use Lily’s)

3/4 Cup Virgin Coconut oil

1/2 cup Smooth Peanut Butter

4Tbsp Allulose

6ozs Coconut Cream

Melt chocolate and coconut oil over low heat in a saucepan until completely melted. This will take about a minute or two.

Pour into a glass measuring jug and pour into little cupcake shells (you can also use a bigger cupcake tin as well).

Put in Freezer for 10 minutes to set.

In the meantime, mix together peanut butter with the allulose and coconut cream till completely combined.

After the 10 minutes are up, take your tray out of the freezer and spoon in your peanut butter filling.

Then cover with chocolate till the peanut butter is no longer showing.

Put in the freezer another 10 minutes.

Take out and put in a ziploc to keep on hand to stay full after a meal and for a nice treat.
